Sony making gameshow for France Télévisions

Sony Pictures Television Productions France and SPT-owned producer Starling are making a new gameshow for French public broadcaster France Télévisions.

The 36-part series, Avec ou Sans Joker, will run to an initial 36 episodes and be transmitted on the FR2 channel in an access primetime slot.

In the show contestants compete to correctly answer general knowledge questions, accompanied by holograms that provide clues in the form of challenges and riddles. It will launch on FR2 next month.

Nathalie Civrais, senior VP, SPT Productions France said: “Through its floating apparitions, Avec ou Sans Joker brings a new dimension to the game play and a host of characters to appear on-air and through ancillary extensions.”
