FremantleMedia confirms Cegielski, Berk appointments

FremantleMedia North America has confirmed the hire of former GK-tv and Lionsgate drama exec Craig Cegielski and Playtone’s Stefanie Berk, as TBI reported earlier this week.

Cegielski becomes FMNA’s first executive VP, scripted programming and development after joining from his own company Open Circle Entertainment, while Berk will report into him as senior VP, scripted programming and development.

Cegielski’s appointment is effective immediately, while Berk, who was previous head of development at Tony Hanks’s prodco Playtone, begins on Monday.
