Ex-FremantleMedia exec Renae Garcia resurfaces at Marblemedia

Canadian kids producer Marblemedia has hired Renae Garcia as its director of development and acquisitions in the US.
The company is based in Toronto and also has an LA office, where Garcia will be based.
Reporting to Marblemedia boss Matt Hornburg, Garcia will head up the firm’s development and acquisition activities in the US.
“As our development slate broadens into the primetime scripted space, expanding our presence in LA is a natural next step,” Hornburg said
Garcia helped launch FremantleMedia’s scripted division in the US as the company’s director of acquisitions and development. She left FremantleMedia over a year ago.
