News brief: Horror Channel buys classic Wonder Woman from Warner Bros.

CBS Chello Zone Channels has acquired classic drama series The New Adventures of Wonder Woman for its UK Horror Channel.

Chello, the content and channels arm of Liberty Global, and Hollywood studio CBS operate Horror as part of their channels joint venture. They bought the series from Warner Bros International Television Distribution.

The show, which aired on US network ABC in the 1970s, will debut on Horror Channel on May 20 in a daytime slot.
