Indigo Films opens LA office
San Francisco-headquartered Indigo Films has opened a new LA office and hired an Emmy-winning producer to run it.
Glenn Kirschbaum (Unsolved Mysteries, Haunted History) will head up the new Culver City office of the factual entertainment and documentary producer, which has around 120 staff and currently has shows in production for ID Network, Travel Channel, National Geographic Channel and BIO Channel.
Kirschbaum takes on the official title of showrunner. His previous roles include VP of creative affairs at MPH Entertainment, which is behind Cesar Millan-starring Dog Whisperer.
“To deliver the best television content to our clients and offer them the most creative development ideas, we needed to expand our operations to include a new office in Los Angeles and add key management in that office,” said David M. Frank, owner, Indigo Films.
