Banijay renews format distribution deal with DR

DR and Banijay International have renewed their formats distribution deal.

Under the terms of the agreement, Banijay sells DR formats internationally.

In the wake of renewing the agreement, the distributor said that it had sold DR format Whack ‘n Munch into Norway, with commercial broadcaster TV2 inking a deal for a local version.

The show pairs an old hunter and a young chef and tasks them with going into the wild to kill and cook their dinner. TV2 will take an 8x60mins series and a best-of show.

DR’s other key formats include stand-up comedy show Comedy on the Edge and property series Sold!
