Discovery ups Wagner

Discovery Enterprises International has promoted Elliott Wagner to oversee its international programme sales across North and South America, among other duties.

Wagner, currently director of programme sales and private networks, now fills the role of VP, programmes sales and Canadian partnerships. He has been with Discovery for 14 years.

Based in Silver Spring, Maryland, he’ll oversee DEI parent Discovery Communications’ library across the Americas, including identifying identifying new third party content opportunities. He will also manage Discovery’s Canadian joint venture business.

Wagner will continue to report into Nicolas Bonard, senior VP fo DEI and general manager for France; and Enrique Martinez, president and managing director of Discovery Networks Latin America, US Hispanic and Canada.
