Cineflix hires Kate Laffey from ITV Studios

Cineflix has hired Kate Laffey from ITV Studios Global Entertainment and she will become director of acquisitions at the distributor.

Kate is currently senior acquisitions executive at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, responsible for acquiring scripted and non-scripted content from third party producers. She is also responsible for sourcing third-party development and first look deals. 

At Cineflix she will report to another ex-ITV executive, Noel Hedges.

She will join the company next week and be responsible for acquiring content from third party producers in all territories outside North America.
