Teletoon gets on board Technicolor toon
Canadian kids broadcaster Teletoon has come on board Atomic Puppet, the animated series from Technicolor and Canada’s Mercury Filmworks.
Atomic Puppet will be a 2D animated comedy for 6-to-11s.
The show follows a superhero who is transformed into a puppet and has his super powers accidentally transferred to a 12-year old boy. The pair form an awkward partnership as they strive to become the city’s greatest superhero team.
“We’re thrilled to have Teletoon on board to help us put the finishing touches on Atomic Puppet’s cross-platform development plan,” said Clint Eland, president & executive producer of Mercury Filmworks.
Mercury Filmworks and Technicolor will be looking for additional partners for Atomic Puppet at Kidscreen next month.
