Globo launching Sparkling Girls at NATPE

Brazilian media giant is launching a new show, Sparkling Girls, at NATPE late this month.

The telenovela follows  three domestic housekeepers who become a successful trio of singers after a music video that ends up on the internet becomes an instantaneous hit.

Shown in Brazil during Globo’s access primetime, the last episode of Sparkling Girls generated a 56% share.

It will debut on SIC, in Portugal, during the first half of 2013.The telenovela stretches to 120, 45-minute episodes.
