The show is distributed by Keshet International, the international sales arm of the Israeli broadcaster Keshet.
The show follows three single women as they embark on a nationwide search for a partner, supporting each other along the way. In Israel the show generated a 40.2% audience share on free-to-air Channel 2.
Keshet Broadcasting will coproduce the new versions of Girlfri3nds alongside ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s content division Redseven Entertainment.
Keshet has already shopped a version of the show to ITV in the UK and the commercial broadcaster aired it on its ITV2 channel last September.
