MTG Studios hires Zodiak’s Jens Eriksson as COO

MTG Studios, the content arm of pan European broadcaster Modern Times Group, has poached former Zodiak executive Jens Eriksson to become president and chief operating officer.

Eriksson was previously COO at Zodiak Media Group Nordic and has also worked in the music business with record label Universal Music.

He will start on January 8, 2013 and will report to Patrick Svensk, executive vice president of content, MTG and chairman and CEO, MTG Studios.

MTG Studios comprises Strix, CEE-focused Paprika Latino and communications firm Redaktörerna. It has produced series including Johan Falk for Sweden’s TV4.
