Leverage, Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson’s production company, is making a US version of Canal+ drama Maison Close for US cable net HBO, according to reports over the weekend.
The period series follows three women working at an upmarket brothel in nineteenth century Paris.
Canal+ has aired one season and a second is in production.
The co-creator of the French show, Jacques Ouaniche, is also on board and the pilot will be penned by Elizabeth Sarnoff (Deadwood).
