Cash In The Attic to be remade in Denmark
Cash In The Attic is set to be remade in Denmark after producer Argonon International struck a deal with Norwegian producer Snowman Productions.
Snowman Productions will now start shopping the Leopard Films-produced format to broadcasters. It follows international format deals with broadcasters including M6 in France and Ned2 in Holland and comes a few months after the company announced plans to launch a global digital hub for the show next year.
The deal was struck by Argonon International’s Bea Tammer. “We are delighted to build on the success of this key Argonon brand by striking a deal with Snowman Productions. With its universal appeal and cross-boundary themes, Cash in the Attic continues to be enjoyed by audiences around the world. With a diverse slate of world class content from the wider Argonon group and third party partners, we look forward to announcing further deals at MIPCOM.”
Michael von Würden, head of programmes at Snowman Productions, added: “We are very exited to have obtained the new take on Cash In The Attic. We are looking forward to working with Leopard Films to create a strong brand in the Danish version.”
