Earth Touch acquires Table Mountain docs

A Dog’s Tale

Blue chip wildlife producer and distributor Earth Touch has acquired a number of documentaries from South African producer Table Mountain Films.

Earth Touch has picked up the international rights to docs including A Dog’s Tale, and Hyena – Pretty Princess, Ugly Queen and will start shopping them to international broadcasters at MIPCOM.

A Dog’s Tale is a one-hour doc that tells the story of a lone wild dog that creates a new pack out of an unlikely alliance of hyenas and jackals, while Hyena – Pretty Princess, Ugly Queen is the story of the hyena queen.

“In terms of wildlife production, Table Mountain Films are an extraordinary talented company. Both Joe Kennedy and Richard Matthews are hugely respected filmmakers while main cameraman Brad Bestelink has become something of a legend over the past three years. These are all powerful story-driven films, which we are delighted to be representing,” said Chris Fletcher, director of programming and sales, Earth Touch.
