Tricon heads to Cannes with new IFC shows
Canadian distributor Tricon Films and Television is heading to Cannes with a raft of new series following its deal with US cable network IFC.
The distributor struck a deal earlier this year to represent IFC’s slate of original programming.
It will shop series including 10x30mins sketch comedy series Comedy Bang Bang, hosted by Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis co-creator Scott Aukerman and comedy gameshow Bunk! to international broadcasters at MIPCOM.
Other shows on the company’s forthcoming Cannes slate include 7x1hour factual series I Didn’t Do It, narrated by Chris Noth, feature length documentary Satan, 26x30mins lifestyle series Restaurant Takeover and 2x1hr factual series Birth of a Car.
Returning series also include 50x30mins reality series Love Trap and 14x30mins docu-series Ex-Wives of Rock.
