Warner Bros. TV hires China boss and relocates HQ to Beijing

Warner Bros.’ TV division has recruited Beibei Fan as vice president of distribution, for China. Following the hire, the studio will relocate its China HQ from Shanghai to Beijing.

Fan has previously worked at Warner Bros., but her most recent role was as director, TV distribution at Disney. She was at Disney for two years.

At Warner Bros. she will oversee branded VOD services and supervise the distribution of motion pictures, television series and animation titles in China, as well as previously released films and shows from the studio’s library.

She will to report to Jim Brehm, senior VP, sales, Canada, Latin America and Asia, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

Jeffrey Schlesinger, president, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution said: “Beibei is a smart and strategic sales executive and we are glad to have her back at our company,” said Schlesinger.  “We will look to her to help us grow our business in China as we join our sister divisions in Beijing.”
