ABC to remake British comedy Pulling
ABC is attempting to remake British comedy series Pulling again after striking a deal with Bad Teacher writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.
The move marks the second time that the Sharon Horgan-created series has been ordered by the US broadcaster after it failed to make it past the pilot stage in 2008.
Pulling, which was original produced by Daisy Goodwin’s Silver River for BBC Three, is about three young women who lived together in a London suburb after one of the women breaks off her engagement on the eve of her wedding.
The US remake is being produced by ABC Studios and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.
