ABC orders Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain series The Taste

US broadcast network ABC has orders eight episodes of SevenOne International’s cooking show The Taste.

The cooking format will feature celebrity cooks Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain. Each will head up a panel of four amateur and professional chefs that compete against each other.

The teams will compete over two rounds, a team challenge and an individual challenge.

The show was created by SevenOne-backed Kinetic Content, which will also produce the series.
