truTV orders more Impractical Jokers
US cable network truTV has ordered a second season of Impractical Jokers. This comes after the comedy format was sold globally by Warner Bros.
The network, which is owned by Turner Broadcasting System, has ordered 15 episodes for the second season, which is produced by Say Yes To The Dress producer NorthSouth Productions. The show will launch in December 2012.
Warner Bros International Television Production reps the format internationally and earlier this year closed deals in Holland with Veronica and VMMa in Belgium. Separately, BBC3 ordered an online pilot of the hidden camera prank show.
