NBC picks up more drama ahead of Screenings
US network NBC has added two more drama series ahead of its upfronts and has renewed a number of existing shows.
The network, which launches its annual upfronts event on Monday, has picked up Infamous (formerly known as Notorious) and Do No Harm.
Infamous, which is produced by Universal Television and BermanBraun, is a detective drama that follows Californication’s Meagan Good as she goes undercover to sold the murder of her childhood friend.
Do No Harm is produced by Universal Television and stars Rescue Me’s Steven Pasquale as a neurosurgeon wrestling with his demons.
Separately, the network has ordered a 13-episode fourth season of Sony Pictures Television-produced Community, as well as Parenthood and 30 Rock.
Fashion Star, the reality competition series fronted and exec produced by Elle Macpherson and Ben Silverman’s Electus, has also received an order for a second season.
