NBC adds further pickups ahead of Screenings
US network NBC has added more series to its new line-up including a drama from Law & Order’s Dick Wolf and a comedy produced by Jimmy Fallon.
This comes after the network announced a raft of new shows ahead of its annual upfronts event on Monday.
The network has picked up Chicago Fire, a drama set in a fire station produced by Universal Television and Wolf Films. The show stars The Vampire Diaries‘ Taylor Kinney and House’s Jesse Spencer and the pilot was directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
Separately, the station is bringing back Law & Order: SVU for a 14th season.
The latest comedy to be added to its schedule is Guys with Kids, produced by late night comedian Fallon. The multicamera show, which is produced by Universal Television, follows three guys in their thirties who are new to parenthood.
