Turner orders more of Vodka Capital’s Jelly Jamm
Kids channel Cartoonito has ordered more episodes of Spanish producer and distributor Vodka Capital’s animated series Jelly Jamm. The Turner-owned preschool channel made the 52x11mins programme one of its flagship shows when it rolled out across the EMEA region last year.
It has now greenlit a second 26x11mins season of the show as production on season one wraps. The Turner preschool channel reaches 125 million homes in 112 countries.
Steven Posner, managing partner at Vodka Capital said: “From the outset, we were very fortunate and grateful to have Turner pick Jelly Jamm as one of their key properties for the Cartoonito launch in EMEA. In a very short period of time, Cartoonito has become a powerful platform for building out preschool brands in EMEA. They are great partners to work with and with the acquisition of season two, Jelly Jamm‘s future will only get brighter”
Cecilia Persson, VP, acquisitions and coproductions, Turner Broadcasting. “Jelly Jamm is a delightful series which we are thrilled to have as one of the flagship shows on Cartoonito across EMEA.”
