Zodiak Kids launching slapstick comedy in Cannes

Zodiak Kids-owned Tele Images Productions is launching a pilot of a new kids series for Canal+ at MIP TV.

The company is launching The Marco Macaco Show in Cannes, which it has developed in association with Danish studio Nice Ninja.

The 52x5mins series will launch in France via the pay TV broadcaster later this year as well as in Denmark in 2013.

The 3D animated slapstick comedy follows the daily adventures of a beach officer and how his love of order turns into catastrophe. It is a spin-off of a theatrical film, which will launch later this year.
