Former Télé Images exec sets up new distribution firm

Former Télé Images International and Marathon executive Victoire de Monès has set up Jukurpa, a new factual distribution company.

de Monès is launching the new company at MIPTV in Cannes.

Jukurpa will be distributing two documentary titles at the market; Norin’s Ark and Zoo Stars Animals.

Norin’s Ark, which is produced by FL Concepts for France 2, is a natural history doc starring young veterinarian Norin Chai, who works at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. It has already been picked up by international broadcasters including Belgium’s RTL-TVI, Spain’s Natura and Switzerland’s TSR.

It is also selling 14x26mins Zoo Stars Animals, which looks at a series of zoos around the world from the eyes of the animals. It has been produced for French broadcaster AB, TV5 Monde, RTBF in Belgium.
