Passion bring Oprah to MIPTV

Oprah Winfrey (the television series) is heading to MIPTV in Cannes after British distributor Passion struck a deal to sell content from OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Passion will be distributing Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes, a 31x1hr series following the production team behind Winfrey’s last season as a network daytime host.

Other series on the slate from the Discovery-backed cable network including 6x1hr reality series Extreme Clutter, 10x1hour cooking series St. Louis Soul Food, controversial talk show Our America With Lisa Ling.

The company will also be shopping one-off documentaries including I Am Jazz, which follows an 11-year old approaching puberty, and Extraordinary Moms, a 90 minute documentary hosted by actress Julia Roberts looking at high profile mothers including Hillary Clinton.
