Endemol launching new gameshows, music formats
Formats giant Endemol is heading to MIPTV with a raft of new gameshows and musical formats.
The company is hoping to close further international deals for its British heist gameshow The Bank Job after striking a deal in Chile with Megavision. The multi-platform show sees contestants compete to win a life changing fortune from a filled bank vault, but only after they battled it out online.
It is also launching Give Me That Bill, a gameshow aimed at those in financial crisis.
In terms of musical formats, the company is launching two series from Spain. It has Your Face Sounds Familiar, a talent competition with a comedy twist, and Plan B, an interactive dance format originally produced by Spanish indie 7Yaccion.
“These formats will headline a diverse line up of new and proven hits from Endemol at MIPTV 2012. This early raft of deals underlines their international appeal and we’re looking forward to a busy week in Cannes,” says Iris Boelhouwer, managing director, creative operations.
