TBI to host cast of Jersey Shore at MIP TV as MTV eyes int’l versions

The cast of Jersey Shore are heading to MIPTV and are presenting a keynote conference session, hosted by TBI.

Cast members Deena Nicole Cortese and Vinny Guadagnino will present the session titled Jersey Shore: How MTV Is Cracking the Millennial Code with Chris Linn, MTV’s EVP of programming and head of production, and Caroline Beaton, SVP of international programme sales,  Viacom International Media Networks.

Beaton is hoping to close a number of international format deals for the reality series ahead of the market and is in talks with a number of major territories. This follows the success of the British version of the show Geordie Shore, which was just picked up for a third season by MTV UK.

Cortese and Guadagnino are the latest celebrities to be added to MIPTV, following the announcement of Elle MacPherson, who will be talking about her show Fashion Star with Electus’ Ben Silverman and Chris Grant.
