After more than 35 years of operation, TBI is closing its doors and our website will no longer be updated daily. Thank you for all of your support.
#3: Guilty (Fox)
The US networks are deep into development season and have spent the past few weeks frantically ordering pilots ahead of this year’s Upfronts and LA Screenings. TBI takes a look at some of the most interesting projects that are up for consideration.
#3: Guilty (Fox)
Guilty tells the story of a talented but morally questionable lawyer that has his legal license taken away after being falsely convicted of fraud. Subsequently, he continues to attempt to solve the cases he has been banned from, using unorthodox methods, while looking to gain revenge on the people that set him up.
The series was created by Brother and Sisters’ executive producer Greg Berlanti and FlashForward exec producer and former lawyer Marc Guggenheim. It is being produced by Warner Bros Television in association with Berlanti Productions and Wonderland Sound and Vision.
The pilot is being directed by McG, exec producer of Chuck (and director of Terminator Salvation), who runs Wonderland.
It, essentially, sounds like The Mentalist if it was created by a team of comic book reading lawyers.
Chances: Strong; McG has an incredible track record and Fox is keen to ramp up its drama slate.
