HBO launching in the Netherlands

HBO is launching a suite of channels and services in the Netherlands.

The Time Warner-backed channel operator has formed a joint venture with local MSO Ziggo and they will launch the HBO, HBO 2 and HBO 3 linear channels alongside the HBO On-Demand and HBO Go services.

The channels will be programmed with a range of HBO’s premium series and movies including Boardwalk Empire, True Blood and Too Big to Fail.

There will also be third-party content from Sony and Warner Bros.

The premium package is priced at €14.95 a month.
