Shine poaches Warner Bros’ Danser

Shine has poached former Warner Bros and BBC Worldwide exec Claudia Danser to head up its international formats division.

Danser will become managing director of Shine Network, the division responsible for Shine formats including MasterChef, The Biggest Loser, Got To Dance and The Magicians. She will replace Ben Hall, who will take up another, as yet unannounced role within Shine Group, in early 2012.

Danser, who will report to Shine Network president and Shine Australia chief executive Mark Fennessy, was previously vice president, sales, Europe, Warner Bros International Television Production. Before this she was executive vice president, sales and coproductions, Europe at Outright Distribution, which was acquired by Warner Bros in 2010, and various roles at BBC Worldwide.
