Sky-HBO copro Strike back gets another season
Strike Back has been renewed. The special forces action series is the first copro between Sky and HBO and will air on the UK and US broadcaster’s Sky One and Cinemax channels respectively next year.
The show is based on the book of the same name by Chris Ryan and the former British special forces operative is a consultant on the TV series.
BBC-backed production company Left Bank will make the show, which will shoot the ten episode series in South Africa. Left Bank’s Andy Harries will again executive produce the series.
The current season of Strike Back ends later this month on Cinemax and HBO said it will not reveal cast details for the new season yet to avoid plot spoilers.
