BBC Worldwide launching nine formats at MIPCOM

BBC Worldwide is rolling out nine new formats at MIPCOM including scripted offering Misfits.

The commercial arm of the UK public broadcaster will offer the UK-originated sci-fi drama as a format for the first time, having already sold the finished version, produced by Clerkenwell Films, into 90 territories.

The other new formats are reality, factual or factual entertainment. They include Epic Win in which eccentric members of the public take on challenges in front of a panel of celebrities.

There is also Hot Like Us in which model couples live together and compete in various modelling assignments, Show Me the Funny: Stand-up Showdown in which comedians compete against each other and Daddy Daycare in which three men are sent on a crash parenting course.
