Cineflix poaches Vlad Wolynetz to run scripted production

The scripted division of producer and distributor Cineflix has recruited Vlad Wolynetz as president of production. He will join Cineflix Studios from BBC Worldwide next month.

In his new role Wolynetz will oversee production of scripted series and report to Glen Salzman, CEO, Cineflix Media.

At BBC Worldwide, Wolynetz was senior VP, scripted production and oversaw a scripted slate that included hit sci-fi drama Torchwood. Prior to Worldwide he was VP, production, series and movies at US cable net AMC.

“We’re delighted to welcome Vlad aboard at this pivotal point in our expansion,” said Glen Salzman.  “He’s a consummate pro with multiple award-winning series to his credit.  Vlad’s expertise will be invaluable on shows like The Command and many more as we continue to ramp up our slate.”
