Warner Bros picks up Dutch format
Warner Bros International Television Production has struck a deal with Dutch producer BlazHoffski to distribute its reality competition format Flashback.
The international arm of the Hollywood studio will represent the format, which airs this month on Dutch public broadcaster Ned1, and will open talks with international broadcasters and producers.
The format was created by Ief Stuyvaert and creative executives at BlazHoffski, which produces formats including Hello Goodbye and Tower C. The 8x1hour format sees five couples thrown together in a heart pounding adventure where they must test their physical skills and intelligence at the same time.
“We believe Flashback will have great appeal to audiences around the world with its original, fast-moving, clever and engaging format,” said Andrew Zein, senior VP, creative format development and sales, Warner Bros International Television Production.
