AETN shakes up programming execs
AETN has promoted three of its key programming executives across its A&E, History and Bio brands.
The US cable network group and international channel operator, which is a joint venture between Disney-ABC Television Group, Hearst and NBC Universal, has promoted Robert Sharenow as executive VP, programming for the Lifetime brands, David McKillop as executive VP, programming for the A&E brands and Dirk Hoogstra as senior VP, programming for the History brands.
Sharenow, who was previously senior VP, programming at A&E Network, and Hoogstra, who was previously vice president of development and programming at History, will report to Nancy Dubuc, president of Lifetime and History.
McKillop, who was previously senior VP, development and programming, History, will report to Bob DeBitetto, president, A&E Network and Bio channel.
