Charlie Singer has rejoined MTV Networks Latin America as senior vice president of content and creative for the company’s US Hispanic network Tr3s.
Singer joins from online video web platform My Damn Channel, where he was general manager.
Singer initially joined MTV in 1984 establishing the broadcaster’s production arm in LA before joining the company’s Latin American division in 1999, where he oversaw programming and production in Mexico, Chile and Argentina.
He will know be in charge of Tr3s’s programming and production following its relaunch earlier this year. Tr3s airs a raft of music videos as well as original Spanish-language content including Quiero Mis Quinces, which is a Latin version of My Super Sweet 16, and music cooking series Rock Dinner.
Singer will report to Jose Tillan, general manager and executive vice president, Tr3s.
