NBC cancels J.J Abrams’ Undercovers
NBC has cancelled Warner Bros’ J.J Abrams-produced spy drama Undercovers, the latest and most high profile cancellation of this season’s series.
The network cancelled the show after its latest episode drew less than 6 million viewers, although it will air three remaining episodes through December. The show is produced and distributed by Warner Bros.
This comes after the broadcaster picked up a number of Universal Media Studios-produced series including The Event and Law & Order: Los Angeles.
The show is the most high profile cancellation this season, which has already seen shows including ABC’s The Whole Truth, Fox’s Lonestar and NBC’s Jimmy Smits-fronted legal drama Outlaw cancelled.
