Warner Bros poaches Tiger Aspect’s Steinman
Warner Bros has hired former Tiger Aspect executive Adam Steinman to head its international formats team.
Steinman will become VP, non-scripted international development and sales, Warner Bros International Television Production and will report to SVP, creative format development and sales Andrew Zein. He will be based in Burbank.
Zein joined the studio last year as it launched its international production division, which was tasked to acquire or build production companies in major territories to develop original local programming and to produce international versions of its US formats.
Steinman, who will also be responsible for inking partnerships with US producers and acquiring US formats to be exploited internationally, was previously VP, development and production at Tiger Aspect USA, the US arm of the UK indie that produced series including Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel, Lifetime’s Cook Yourself Thin and TLC’s Makeover Train.
