Sweden’s TV4 launches Zodiak’s The Best Singers

Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4 is launching a local version of Zodiak Entertainment musical format The Best Singers.

The Bonnier-owned network is producing eight episodes of the format later this autumn.

The show, which was originally produced by FTV Productions for Dutch broadcaster TROS, takes established popstars from a particular country and gets them to perform each other’s best selling hits. The stars travel together during the season and in each episode one of the stars takes the role of the guest judge.
