Prime shops Hollywood shows to Fox International and others
Prime Entertainment Group has shopped Hollywood’s Best Film Directors and Hollywood star biography series Close Up to a host of broadcasters.
The Paris and LA-based indie distributor told TBIvision that it has cut new deals for 52x26mins Hollywood’s Best Film Directors, which profiles Tinseltown’s most famous movie makers, to arts and culture channel Ovation in the US.
Mark Cuban’s HD Net has picked Canadian rights to the series and Australian public broadcaster SBS has acquired it for its arts and entertainment channel STVDIO.
Meanwhile, Fox International Channels has bought 52x26mins series Close Up, which profiles Hollywood stars. FIC had already acquired the show for Fox Poland and Fox Russia and has now closed a deal for it across the Benelux territories.
Prime has also sold its short-form series about the movie business Zoom In to LAPTV in Latin America. The cable channel has picked up 119 6.5mins episodes of the show.
