Nat Geo presells Obama doc

Nat Geo has presold Inside The Obama White House to a raft of international broadcasters. Buyers of the presidential documentary series include Australia’s Ten and Swedish public broadcaster SVT.

National Geographic Television International, the distribution arm of the factual producer, has also sold the fly-on-the-wall documentary to Ireland’s RTE, Spain’s TV Catalunya, Poland’s TVP2, Denmark’s DR, Belgium’s VRT, RTP Portugal, Indonesia’s Metro News and Brazil’s Rede Record.

The documentary is set to be delivered this summer and will air on US public broadcaster PBS later this year. It was produced by National Geographic Television, which was given full access to the president over five months via his official photographer.
