Eyeworks hires Rive Gauche exec Crompton

Eyeworks Distribution has poached former Rive Gauche sales boss Dorothy Crompton to head up the company’s international distribution business.

Crompton, who headed Rive Gauche’s international sales division since 2003, distributing series including The Dog Whisperer, joined Eyeworks Distribution as senior VP, international sales. She will work alongside Ross Weintraub, managing director, distribution and chief operating officer of Eyeworks USA / 3 Ball Productions and director of business development.

The company, which was originally based in Holland, has been ramping up its international presence and its Argentine-owned production arm Eyeworks Cuatro Cabezas recently opened a US office.

Eyeworks will take series including crime thriller Dossier K and reality series My Life As The Octomom.
