Disney to roll out Jungle Junction internationally
Disney is set to roll out animated series Jungle Junction to over 70 countries, marking the first global roll out to emerge from the company’s London based production hub.
The series, which is produced by Spider Eye for Disney, launched on Playhouse Disney in the UK and US earlier this year, and following ratings success is set to be rolled out to more than 70 countries next year.
Jungle Junction follows a group of animals that have wheels including Zooter, a pig scooter and Ellyvan, a mix between an elephant and a van. It is the second series to be produced from Disney’s production hub at Elstree following Bunnytown.
Giorgio Stock, EVP and managing director, Disney Channels EMEA, said: “Local production is a major priority for Disney and we are ramping up the output from our London-based hub to meet the global demand for programming on Disney Channel.”
