Discovery launches TLC in Brazil

Discovery Networks International is to launch general entertainment channel TLC HD in Brazil, marking the first international launch of the network.

The channel will be launched later this month after the company struck a carriage deal with satellite pay TV service Sky Brasil.

It is also expected to start rolling out the channel to other international markets. The channel will air series including Jon & Kate +8, Toddlers and Tiaras and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
