Mogensen appointed head of FremantleMedia’s Blu

FremantleMedia has appointed Morten Mogensen as CEO of Blu, the company’s Danish production arm.

Mogensen was previously programming director at Danish free-to-air broadcaster TV3 responsible for production, acquisition and scheduling at the TV3, TV3 Plus and TV3 Puls channels. In his new role he will report to Simon Spalding, regional CEO, Europe and Asia Pacific for FremantleMedia.

Mogensen has also worked at Scandi producer Metronome where, as head of editorial, he worked on shows including the local versions of The Block and My Restaurant Rules.
