UK’s High Point moves into docs

UK indie producer and distributor High Point Media Group has created High Point Horizons, a new label for factual programming.

The company created the new imprint after picking up international rights to Shadow Play, a feature-length documentary profile of rock music photographer Anton Corbijn.

The doc, which was produced by Australian indie Heart Productions, features Corbijn, who directed Ian Curtis biopic Control, as well as contributions from U2 lead singer Bono, REM’s Michael Stipe and Factory Records boss Tony Wilson.

The company said it looking for other ‘commercially driven and stimulating factual docs’ it can acquire and distribute.
