Shankly inks output deal with Oz’s Ten
Australian producer and distributor Shankly Productions has inked a raft of deals including an output deal in Australia and has hired a new sales chief.
The company has inked an output deal with Australian commercial broadcaster Network Ten for its entire slate of sports programming. The three year deal will include series such as Tread BMX, Xtreme Paintball and Mecum Auto Action.
Shankly has also sold three mountain climbing documentaries to RTL-owned British commercial network Five. The series are The Sharp End, King Lines and First Ascent.
Meanwhile, former Bennett Media executive Matthew Mancinelli has joined the company as director of international sales and Greg Bauer has been promoted to director of development. Mancinelli will be responsible for sales of series including Fox Reality’s Amazing Adventures of a Nobody and PBS’ Hometime.
