Seven to produce Oz version of Beauty and the Geek

Australian commercial broadcaster Seven Network is to produce a local version of US reality series Beauty and The Geek.

The network has struck a deal with distributor CBS Studios International to produce an Australian version of the format, which was originally created and exec produced by Ashton Kutcher and his production company Katalyst.

The show takes a group of academic, but socially challenged men and attempts them to pair up with a group of beautiful, but not so smart women.
