FremantleMedia sells series to CEE
FremantleMedia Enterprises has closed a raft of programming deals in Central and Eastern Europe ahead of Discop.
The distributor has sold series including British fantasy drama Merlin, racy Australian drama Satisfaction and German daily action series 112.
Hungary’s RTL Klub, Poland’s Polsat, Pro TV (Romania), ETV (Estonia), BTV (Bulgaria) and Russia’s TV3 have acquired 13x1hour Merlin, which has been licensed to 180 territories.
Poland’s TVN Style, Estonia’s Kanal 2 and Barrondov (Czech Republic) have picked up 20x1hour Satisfaction, while TVN7 (Poland), RTL Klub (Hungary), LNT (Latvia) and BTV (Lithuania) have all taken 110x30mins action series 112, which is produced by German indie Action Concept.
Discop, the programming market for broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe, starts this week and runs until Friday June 19.
